Frequently Asked Questions
Are firearms listed on your website actually in stock?
TS Firearm offers inventory from our own warehouse and established distribution partners. Availability is updated regularly, but inventory can change quickly, particularly for high-demand firearms and limited-production models. If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we’ll contact you to discuss the available options.
Can I request a firearm or specific configuration that isn't listed on your website?
Looking for a particular firearm, model number, or configuration? Contact TS Firearm with the manufacturer, model, and specifications you’re looking for. We can check availability through our distribution network.
Why do prices for the same firearm vary between online retailers?
Firearm prices can vary based on distributor costs, availability, manufacturer promotions, inventory acquisition costs, and market demand. Even firearms with similar model names may have different manufacturer part numbers or configurations. We recommend comparing the exact manufacturer SKU when evaluating prices.
What is the difference between new, open-box, and used firearms?
New firearms are sold as new products. Open-box firearms have been removed from their original packaging or may have packaging or handling-related differences, with their condition described in the listing. Used firearms have been previously owned or used. Always review the individual product description and condition information before purchasing.
Can I choose my own FFL dealer when purchasing a firearm online?
Yes. During checkout, you can select a licensed FFL dealer to receive your firearm. We recommend confirming that your preferred dealer accepts transfers, can legally transfer the firearm to you, and reviewing any applicable transfer fees before placing your order.
How do I find an FFL dealer to receive my firearm?
TS Firearm provides an FFL dealer selection process during checkout. You can locate a dealer near your preferred ZIP code and select the location where you’d like your firearm transferred. Contact the dealer beforehand to confirm its transfer policies and fees.
What happens if my selected FFL dealer cannot accept the firearm?
If your selected dealer cannot receive or transfer the firearm, contact TS Firearm as soon as possible. Depending on the order’s status, we may be able to coordinate an alternative eligible FFL dealer. Additional shipping, return, or cancellation fees may apply.
Does my FFL dealer charge a separate transfer fee?
Most receiving FFL dealers charge their own transfer fee, which is separate from the firearm purchase price and shipping charges. Transfer fees vary by dealer and location. We recommend confirming these charges directly with your chosen FFL before ordering.
How long does it take to process and ship a firearm order?
Processing times depend on inventory availability, order verification, and receipt of any required FFL documentation. Orders may have different processing times depending on the item. Once your firearm ships, tracking information will be provided so you can follow its delivery to your selected FFL dealer.
What should I inspect before accepting a firearm transfer?
Before completing the transfer, inspect the firearm for visible shipping damage, verify the manufacturer and model, and confirm that the item matches your order. If you notice damage, an incorrect model, or another discrepancy, contact TS Firearm before completing the transfer. Return options may be limited once the firearm has been transferred.
